Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position for a Senior Staff Accountant based in Sterling, IL. The Senior Staff Accountant will oversee the financial statements, reconcile accounts, prepare and analyze budgets, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Responsibilities include maintaining financial records, preparing accurate reports, participating in audits, and providing strategic financial insights to management. The role also involves collaborating closely with other departments to support company goals and objectives. Qualifications Experience in accounting functions, including financial reporting, account reconciliation, and general ledger managementStrong knowledge of budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control practicesProficiency in accounting software, including ERP systems, and advanced use of spreadsheet toolsUnderstanding of compliance with financial regulations and internal controlsExcellent analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detailBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCPA certification and experience in the manufacturing industry are a plusAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environment with cross-departmental collaboration
