If you feel the same, then you’ve found your future.As we continue to grow our environmental practice across Connecticut, we’re looking for a Senior Environmental Professional | Assistant Project Manager to join our talented Environmental team in Connecticut.This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced environmental professional who is ready to take the next step into project leadership while continuing to build strong technical expertise. You’ll work alongside seasoned project managers, support complex environmental projects, mentor junior staff, and help deliver solutions for a wide range of public and private sector clients.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport project managers and provide technical leadership on a variety of environmental projects including:Site investigationsEnvironmental remediationBrownfield redevelopmentEnvironmental permitting and complianceAssist with project coordination, scheduling, and oversight of field staff and subcontractorsPrepare high-quality technical reports, regulatory documentation, and client deliverables in accordance with Connecticut environmental regulations and company standardsCollaborate with clients, regulators, and internal teams to support successful project outcomesContribute to proposal development, client engagement, and broader business development effortsMentor and guide early-career technical staff while helping build team capabilities and project delivery efficiencySupport growing project workloads for a diverse client base including utility, industrial, commercial, and development clientsSkills, Knowledge and ExpertiseBachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geoscience, or a related field6+ years of environmental consulting or related experienceStrong understanding of Connecticut environmental regulations and remediation programsAbility and desire to obtain Licensed Environmental Professional (LEP) certification within 2–3 yearsExperience supporting or managing environmental investigation and remediation projectsStrong technical writing and communication skillsDesire to grow into project management, client management, and leadership responsibilitiesRemediation design experience is a plusThis is a hybrid role, offering the best of both worlds—collaborate in-office with a high-performing team and enjoy the flexibility of working remotely part of the week.
