Join Our Team as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse PractitionerWe are actively looking for dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners in South Carolina.Important Note: Clinicians must hold a valid license and reside in the state where they will be practicing.Incentive: This position offers a competitive ramp stipend for those who can provide 30 or more hours of availability each week.Compensation DetailsThis is a Fee for Service (W2) role, with an annual salary ranging from $130,000 to $187,000, depending on 25-35 clinical hours worked weekly.To ensure the safety and best practices for both our clinicians and clients in a telemedicine setting, we do not promote or incentivize the use of stimulant medications. Instead, these are offered based on the specific symptoms and diagnoses of clients, with prescribing decisions made at the clinician's discretion.Currently, we do not treat substance use disorders and strive to refer clients to in-person providers when symptoms are too severe for telemedicine treatment.Role ExpectationsAs a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide care to a diverse clientele experiencing mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and more. You will work with various age groups, primarily focusing on adults and adolescents, with plans to expand care across all age ranges in the future.QualificationsLicensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with Board Certification.Master's degree in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state.Familiarity with AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is advantageous.While three years of experience is preferred, a minimum of one year in psychiatric practice is required.Clinicians must be licensed and reside in the state where they will practice.All new hires must complete in-house training on our ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and approach, followed by a certification exam. New employees will be enrolled in the ADHD Clinic and are expected to treat ADHD clients, with no quotas for client numbers or prescriptions.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations for clients in a telemedicine format.Willingness to treat clients aged 14 and older.Prescribe medications as necessary to alleviate mental health symptoms.Collaborate with clients to develop care plans.Complete and/or administer relevant paperwork and assessment tools for clients.Follow our Clinical Practice Guidelines.Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff regarding clients, programs, and services across various locations.What We OfferWe are committed to supporting our employees and empowering them to excel, allowing them to focus on delivering exceptional care to our clients.
