This is a non-exempt position and typically reports to the Store Manager.Essential Functions:Relays order to kitchen for preparationEnsures all orders leaving the kitchen meet presentation standards and guest requestsKnows the menu items served and is able to knowledgeably explain the major ingredients andpreparation methods for each itemInforms wait staff of kitchen wait times and any product shortageMaintains neat and clean workstation during servicePatrols assigned station; refills water, coffee and table condimentsSets tables, rolls silverware, washes dishes, makes sandwiches for the To-go area in downtime, and performs other duties in a team effortMinimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:Customer service experience preferredRequires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customersRequires the ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functionsRequires the ability to lift and/or move up to 20 poundsFrequently immerses hands in water and water diluted with chemical solutionsEqual Opportunity Employer (EOE) Minority/Female/Disabled/Veteran (M/F/D/V) Drug Free Workplace (DFW)Nearest Major Market: Chicago
