Truck Driver Job Description Job Overview: Join our team as a Truck Driver where you will be a vital part of our transportation operations, ensuring the efficient and safe delivery of goods. As a Dedicated Truck Driver, you will be hauling product in a dry van to FL, GA, SC and AL. You will hand unload small freight onto gravity rollers at stores. This position will get you home weekly for your reset. Responsibilities: - Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to specified destinations. - Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to guarantee the vehicle's safety and functionality. - Efficiently plan routes to ensure on-time deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. - Coordinate delivery schedules by communicating effectively with dispatchers and team members. - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage covered, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transportation. - Adhere strictly to company policies and transportation regulations throughout all operations. Requirements: - Possession of a valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with Class A endorsement. - Demonstrated experience in commercial driving for at least 3 months - Ability to drive tractor-trailers and handle commercial delivery responsibilities effectively.
