Global Project Manager

Akkodis is seeking a – “Global Software Development Project Manager” for a Contract position with a client located in Tampa, FL (Remote possible).Pay Range: $60 - $70/hr. (The rate/salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.).Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Global Project Manager to lead a high-visibility software and AI development initiative supporting a joint venture between our client and an AI partner. This role will oversee the end-to-end delivery of a global Quoteland tool, designed to ingest materials and parts data to generate new client product quotes using AI capabilities integrated with legacy platforms.The ideal candidate brings strong global program management experience, a solid understanding of AI-enabled solutions, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams across multiple regions and time zones. This role will also play a key part in strengthening global collaboration and driving IT change management processes.Key ResponsibilitiesLead global software and AI development project delivery across distributed teamsManage execution of the Quoteland tool development, including integration of AI and legacy systemsCoordinate collaboration between teams and external AI partner.Identify and close global collaboration gaps across stakeholders and delivery teamsOversee IT change management processes and ensure smooth adoption of new systems and workflowsTrack project milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables across global teamsFacilitate communication between technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadershipEnsure alignment of project outcomes with business and operational goalsSupport development of scalable, repeatable global delivery practicesRequired Qualifications5–8 years of global project/program management experienceExperience managing software development projects with AI or data-driven componentsStrong understanding of IT change management principles and executionProven experience working with distributed/global teamsAbility to manage complex cross-functional initiatives end-to-endStrong communication, stakeholder management, and coordination skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with AI/ML-enabled platforms or digital transformation programsBackground in enterprise systems, manufacturing, or supply chain environmentsPMP or similar project management certificationEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, an EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.
