Job Title: IT Software Testing CoordinatorLocation: Deer Park, TexasSchedule: 3 days onsite and 2 days remoteType: 12 month contract to startAs part of this transformation effort, we have kicked off an SAP S/4HANA project to enhance our business operations and drive growth. We seek an experienced IT Test Coordinator to join our team and play a crucial role in this strategic initiative.Job Overview:The Test Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the software testing of our SAP S/4HANA project and third-party applications. This role will ensure that our testing process aligns to industry best practices. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in software test management and be an excellent leader, communicator, and problem solver.The successful candidate must seek to understand the refinery business, Oil and Gas practices, and be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.Stakeholders:Sits on the SAP S4/HANA core team and collaborates with project leads from Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Construction, and EngineeringWorks closely with the PMO (Project Management Office) team to deliver SAP S/4HANA projectWorks closely with the cross-functional IT technical team including developers, project managers, and business analystsAble to report test plans and status to senior leadership Key Responsibilities:Test Management:Create and enforce SAP S4 implementation test plansTrack test results and reporting on issues and defectsDeveloping stage-gate pass/fail criteria and inform key stakeholders of the overall processPoliciesCreate a testing strategy that will be used as a basis for company testing strategyInfluence technology roadmap for test management platformsDevelop procedures and policies to enforce process for test management in conjunction with our vendor partnersTechnical Leadership and Business Processes:Provide technical leadership and guidance to the project team, adhering to best practicesSkills & Experience Required:Bachelors or Master's degree and five (5) years or more experienceProven experience as Test CoordinatorProven experience with upgrade management in SAAS applications.Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA (Preferred)Experience with test automation and testing softwareAbility to collaborate and communicate across different levels of the organization and influence cross functional teamsPreferred Experience:Experience with ADO or ServiceNow Test ManagementExperience with common applications and processes used at a in Oil and GasRequired Skills : This person will not be testing but managing test cases, test strategy, creation and enforcin SAP implementation test plans, track test results, reporting issues, etc. MUST have experience testing SAPBasic Qualification :Additional Skills :Background Check : YesDrug Screen : YesNotes :Selling points for candidate :Project Verification Info :Candidate must be your W2 Employee :YesExclusive to Apex :YesFace to face interview required :YesCandidate must be local :YesCandidate must be authorized to work without sponsorship ::NoInterview times set :YesType of project :Master Job Title :
