Datadog’s Finance team partners closely with Revenue, Customer Success, Sales, and Financial Systems to support scalable growth, operational excellence, and accurate financial reporting.The Revenue organization is evolving to a team-based operating model, introducing clear ownership of the revenue lifecycle, stronger cross-functional alignment, and dedicated enablement to support increasing complexity across usage, drawdown, and marketplace revenue models.We are seeking a Sr. Manager, Revenue to own the end-to-end revenue lifecycle, from deal structuring through revenue recognition and reporting. This role will lead the Revenue Accounting & Operations team and play a critical role in supporting the company’s continued growth and increasing contract complexity.This individual will partner cross-functionally with AR, Customer Success, Deal Desk, FP&A, and Financial Systems to ensure accurate, scalable, and efficient revenue processes, while also strengthening governance in high-risk areas such as drawdown revenue.What You’ll Do:Own the end-to-end revenue lifecycle, including deal-to-order, billing, revenue recognition, and closeLead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes in accordance with ASC 606Oversee billing and usage execution across subscription, usage, and drawdown modelsPartner with Deal Desk on contract review and revenue implications for complex arrangementsProvide leadership and governance over drawdown revenue structures, including depletion logic and contract analysisManage revenue integrity processes, including billing ↔ revenue tie-outs, controls, and KPI reportingPartner closely with AR to ensure alignment from billing through cash conversion and issue resolutionServe as a key point of contact for audit, SOX, and technical accounting inquiriesIdentify and drive process improvements to support scale and reduce operational riskBuild and develop a high-performing team supporting revenue operations and accountingWho You Are:8+ years of progressive experience in accounting/revenue, including Big 4 experienceCPA requiredStrong experience with ASC 606 and SaaS revenue models (usage, drawdown, multi-element arrangements)Proven ability to operate in a high-growth, high-complexity environmentStrong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skillsDetail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesExperience with NetSuite and large-scale billing systems preferredExperience leveraging data and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau) to drive insights and decision-makingFamiliarity with automation and AI/LLM-driven workflows to improve operational efficiency is a plusDatadog values people from all walks of life.
