IT & DevOps Manager (Security-focused)

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on professional who thrives in an innovative, fast-paced environment.We are looking for a well-rounded candidate with strong DevOps, IT operations, and cybersecurity experience, who can actively contribute to both strategic initiatives and day-to-day execution.This role is critical in ensuring a secure, stable, and scalable technology environment, supporting internal teams and customer-facing platforms while preparing the organization for future compliance and audit requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesTo provide clarity and alignment with organizational needs, responsibilities are grouped into three core areas:1. IT Operations ManagementConfigure, manage, and monitor office network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, firewalls), server environments, and end-user devicesAdminister Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, including user lifecycle management and migration projectsLead transition from BYOD to company-issued devices to enhance endpoint security and standardizationProvide hands-on internal IT support for employees and assist customers when requiredManage office hardware (laptops, printers, conferencing systems, video walls, and operational equipment)Oversee vendor relationships, IT procurement, asset management, and software licensingDevelop and maintain IT documentation, SOPs, and internal support resources2. Security & ComplianceMaintain and improve ISO 27001 compliance, including policy updates, evidence tracking, and audit readiness (experience with Vanta is a plus)Strengthen the company’s cybersecurity posture through implementation of best practices and toolsDeploy and manage EDR solutions, identity and access controls (MFA), and secure configurations across systemsSupport SOC 2 / SOX / ITGC readiness, including documentation, evidence collection, and audit collaborationDevelop and maintain backup, disaster recovery (DR), and business continuity plansParticipate in risk assessments and continuously improve IT security governance3. Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Support (DevOps-Oriented)Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS) for scalability, reliability, and cost efficiencyCollaborate with engineering and operations teams to deliver DevOps-driven solutions for internal and customer-facing systemsImplement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to improve system observability and securityTrack cloud usage, performance, and cost trends, providing insights and recommendationsSupport automation, tooling, and infrastructure improvements to enhance operational efficiencyRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience5+ years of experience in IT management, system administration, or similar roles in hybrid environmentsStrong hands-on experience in:Network configuration and troubleshooting (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls)Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)Google Workspace and Microsoft 365Proven experience with ISO standards (especially ISO 27001) and cybersecurity practicesSolid understanding of:Cybersecurity principles, EDR tools, identity/access managementBackup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategiesExperience supporting internal IT operations and end usersPreferred QualificationsExperience with DevOps practices, tools, and automationFamiliarity with compliance platforms such as VantaExposure to SOC 2, SOX, or ITGC processesExperience in scaling infrastructure and tooling in growing organizationsIdeal Candidate ProfileA hands-on executor who can balance strategy with day-to-day IT supportStrong blend of DevOps, IT operations, and cybersecurity expertiseProactive, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple prioritiesEffective communicator who can work with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersPassionate about building secure, efficient, and scalable systems
