River Terrace Retirement Community is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing / Infection Prevention (RN or LPN) is for our skilled nursing facility in Bluffton, IN! The Assistant Director of Nursing RN / Infection Preventionist is responsible for the overall organization of the nursing department, and for the prevention, investigation, monitoring and reporting of the spread of diseases in hospital. $5,000 Sign-on Bonus* Conditions apply This is a full-time position Responsibilities: Plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the Nursing Service Department Participate in interviewing and screening residents for admission to the facility Review nurses’ notes to ensure proper documentation is maintained relating to resident’s treatment, medications, and conditions Assist the Resident Assessment/Care Plan Coordinator in planning, scheduling, and revising the MDS, including the implementation of RAP’s and triggers.
