Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Elevator Technician based in St. Petersburg, FL. The Elevator Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, and modernizing elevator systems. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, carrying out preventive maintenance schedules, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining detailed service records. Collaboration with team members, property owners, and contractors will be integral to this role to ensure efficient and reliable elevator operations.RequirementsValid CC License (Certified Competent Elevator Mechanic) or out of state-recognized elevator mechanic license.5–8+ years of verifiable elevator experience, with a strong background in modernization.Advanced knowledge of elevator electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.Proficiency with multiple elevator brands (Otis, Schindler, KONE, TK, etc.).Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces or at heights.Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Willingness to travel or work after hours when required.
