This school year, ACE is serving approximately 16,000+ children in Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Hawaii, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming, and is actively pursuing other expansion opportunities with the support of a national funding partners. You will be the primary voice of ACE on social media, crafting compelling stories that highlight scholar success, donor impact, policy wins and the power of parent empowerment. You will also build and maintain the CEO's professional presence across platforms to position him as a go-to expert in the education-reform space.Primary Job ResponsibilitiesStrategic Content LeadershipDevelop, manage and optimize a comprehensive weekly/monthly content calendar aligned with organizational priorities, campaigns, events and timely education newsCreate high-quality, original content (posts, captions, threads, video scripts, graphics briefs, etc.) that drives engagement, donations, scholarship applications and advocacyManage and grow ACE's main organizational accounts: X (@ACEscholarships), Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedInExecutive Thought-Leadership PlatformBuild and manage the CEO's professional social presence (primarily LinkedIn and X, with support on others) to establish him as a leading voice on school choice, education policy and opportunity for low-income familiesDraft thought-leadership posts, video messages, and interview recaps; develop and coordinate ghostwriting and approval processesAttend key events for in-person appearances alongside the CEO to provide real-time social media coverage; ghostwrite and post live updates, threads, stories, captions, videos and highlights on behalf of him, amplifying speaker messages, scholar stories, donor impact and thought leadershipCoordinate with organizational partners on key campaigns for aligned messaging across channelsCommunity & Real-Time ManagementProvide active daily monitoring, timely responses and community engagement across all channels (including evenings/weekends during peak periods or events)Develop and execute social media plans for major events (annual luncheons, policy briefings, scholar celebrations, conferences, Women's Luncheon, National School Choice Week activities, etc.), including live coverage, real-time posting, post-event amplification and reportingOperations & CollaborationSchedule and publish all content using social management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite or similar)Coordinate closely with organizational partners, state teams, development, scholarship programs and external PR/communications vendorsTrack performance metrics, analyze insights and deliver regular reports and recommendations to leadership on engagement, growth and ROIEnsure all content complies with nonprofit best practices, brand guidelines and platform policiesSome travel may be required from time to time to accompany the CEO on key events/speaking engagements, to capture content/post real-timeKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesExceptional writer and storyteller who can translate complex policy and data into emotionally resonant, shareable content.Strategic thinker with hands-on execution styleCollaborative team player who can coordinate across departments and with external partnersHigh emotional intelligence and ability to represent the organization with professionalism and warmthAble to balance structure with agility in a fast-moving environmentComfort working within conservative or religious partner environments.?Thrives in a startup-like environment and embraces ambiguity.?Requirements5+ years of progressive social media management experience, preferably in nonprofit, education, advocacy or political/issue-based organizationsStrong journalistic or professional writing background with a proven portfolio of compelling, story-driven content (writing samples or portfolio required)Demonstrated success managing multiple platforms (X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn) and growing audiences organically.Strong alignment with ACE's mission, values, and founding principles.Experience building and managing executive/CEO thought-leadership channelsExperience managing multiple channels and content development and output during live eventsExcellent project management skills and comfort operating at a manager level with ability to own strategy while executing at a high volumeBachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Marketing, other related fields, or equivalent working experienceExperience with video content creation/editing and YouTube channel management (preferred, but not required)Knowledge of education policy and current events in K-12 space (preferred, but not required)Experience working in a national or multi-state organization (preferred, but not required)Technical aptitude and experience with platforms like Microsoft Office Suite (Sharepoint, Teams), all social platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X), Sprout, and MarTech Project Management platforms.Location, Travel, and ReportingThis an in-office role in Denver Tech Center office, remote work during travel periods and as approved by managerReports to Marketing Leadership25-33% travel throughout the yearFLSA StatusFull-time, ExemptCompensationAnnual salary of $75,000 - $90,000 and eligible for annual performance bonuses, plus benefits package, which includes but is not limited to:Medical Insurance (with generous employer contribution)Dental Insurance (with generous employer contribution)Vision InsuranceVoluntary Life InsuranceHSA, FSA, Limited FSA, and Dependent Care FSA pre-tax spending accountsEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Free, Employer-paid Short-term, Long-term, and AD&D insurance.401(k) with 6% employer match with immediate vestingMonthly cellphone stipendScholarships for employee's whose children are actively enrolled in a K-12 private school ($3,500/child, up to $10,500/year).On-site amenities in Colorado Home Office include employer paid parking, gym cafe, and building security, in office amendities include coffee and snack bar and walking treadmilllSalary Description
