House Manager – River Forest, IL

We're a busy family in River Forest, IL looking for a dependable and proactive House Manager to help keep our home running smoothly. This is a part-time role with a consistent weekly schedule. What You'll Do Maintain the overall cleanliness and order of the home each shift Handle kitchen resets, laundry cycles, and general household upkeep Assist with school pickup and actively supervise children during after-school hours Run household errands as needed (grocery runs, dry cleaning, returns, etc.) Deep clean key areas of the home on a rotating weekly basis Monitor household supplies and flag anything that needs restocking or attention Keep the family informed with brief end-of-shift updates What We're Looking For Prior experience in a household management or similar role Trustworthy, professional, and comfortable working in a private family home Takes initiative — notices what needs to be done without being asked Reliable attendance and punctual, especially for child-related responsibilities Good communicator who keeps things running without needing to be followed up with Must be comfortable driving and transporting children Compensation competitive, depending on experience To Apply Send your resume and a brief introduction about your relevant experience.
