Join our team and discover why we are a top veteran employer and Certified Great Place to Work™Job DescriptionASRC Federal is looking for an experienced Data Architect – Senior to support their work with the U.S. Army Contracting Command (ACC) Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Redstone Arsenal, AL. The Data Architect will lead enterprise-scale data initiatives by collecting, engineering, and modeling data from multiple disparate sources to deliver actionable insights and support strategic decision-making across ACC.This role involves the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable data architectures, predictive modeling, data normalization, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. The Data Architect will also be responsible for creating intelligent solutions that align with organizational goals, KPIs, and secure data governance standards, as well as supporting workforce training and continuous data literacy development.Key ResponsibilitiesCollect, analyze, clean, normalize, and model large datasets from varied sourcesDevelop, test, and implement predictive models, AI/ML algorithms, and advanced statistical analysesDesign and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, data lakes, and data warehousesCreate enterprise strategies and data-driven solutions to support ACC operations and mission successDesign and enforce data governance, quality, and security standards including data labelingPresent data-driven results clearly and effectively to leadership and stakeholdersDevelop and report metrics aligned to Government-defined KPIsDesign and build APIs to access data and systemsFacilitate and manage data storage, cataloging, and retrieval for accessible knowledge sharingPromote cross-team collaboration through data transparency, tools, and structured documentationLead lessons-learned initiatives, apply industry best practices, and support process improvementConduct Command-wide training and awareness initiatives to promote data literacy and secure usageParticipate in workshops, seminars, and conferences to support enterprise data advancementRequired QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or analyticsExperience in one or more of the following:Enterprise data architecture and governanceBuilding data pipelines and ETL processesData modeling and predictive analyticsStatistical tools, programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL)Cloud-based and on-premises data platformsFamiliarity with designing and building APIsStrong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiencesDemonstrated ability to lead strategic data initiatives and support training across large organizationsPreferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in a data-related fieldExperience with AI/ML platforms, data visualization tools, and DoD data environmentsFamiliarity with data cataloging tools and metadata management systemsCertifications in data engineering, architecture, or analytics (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics, Azure Data Engineer, CDMP)Experience implementing data classification and security frameworks in government environmentsCLEARANCE LEVELSECRET ClearanceEDUCATION REQUIRMENTSBachelor’s degree in a related fieldCERTIFICATIONN/AWork Environment And Physical DemandsThis role is 100% on-site at Redstone Arsenal, AL.We invest in the lives of our employees, both in and out of the workplace, by providing competitive pay and benefits packages.
