Offshore Structural Analysis Engineer
Job Roles And ResponsibilitiesPerform structural engineering analysis and design for offshore steel structures and foundations.Develop 3D beam element structural models using engineering software.Perform static and dynamic structural analyses.Design structural steel, shallow foundations, and deep foundations in accordance with applicable codes.Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and design documentation.Develop and review engineering and fabrication drawings.Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout project execution.Conduct field investigations, site inspections, and as-built verification.Assess existing structures for corrosion, loading conditions, and structural integrity.Prepare engineering specifications and calculation packages.Manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously while meeting project schedules.Present engineering recommendations to clients and support project meetings.Qualifications And CertificationsBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Structural concentration preferred) from an ABET-accredited university.5-10 years of Offshore Structural Engineering experience.Strong experience with offshore brownfield projects, repairs, modifications, strengthening, and integrity management.Experience designing in accordance with AISC, ASCE, ACI, and API codes.Proficiency with SACS and AutoCAD (required).Experience with beam element structural modeling and analysis.Strong structural calculations and engineering analysis skills.Experience performing static and dynamic structural analysis.Professional Engineer (PE) license or intent to obtain preferred.Experience with ANSYS, SolidWorks, OrcaFlex, and FEA is a plus.Field inspection experience preferred.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.BenefitsHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsurancePaid Time OffFlexible ScheduleHybrid Work Environment
