Overview In this Electrical Project Manager role, you drive integrated design projects for healthcare, science & tech, and related markets from Portland. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage client relationships, and steer projects to meet budget and schedule while applying electrical engineering principles. You’ll mentor others, pursue new opportunities, and stay current with technologies shaping built environments. ResponsibilitiesProvide expert leadership in project management and relationship skills, guiding integrated design teams and client interactionsFoster a client-first approach in developing key relationshipsStrategically evaluate opportunities, blending consulting and technical expertise in client engagementsLead cross-functional resources to meet project requirements within time and budgetServe as trainer, mentor, and internal resourceHold project team members accountable for deliverables and financial performanceNurture existing client relationships and proactively pursue new business opportunitiesDevelop and deliver client presentationsMaintain knowledge of technologies and trends applicable to the project and marketApply sustainable design principles within projects Key requirementsSuccessful history of collaboration with electrical contractors on Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build projects (preferred)Experience in the construction industry and/or knowledge of construction processesUnderstanding of project management principlesAbility to manage clients, projects, fees, and teams to meet budget, schedule, and deliverablesAbility to integrate design elements with other disciplinesStrong knowledge of applicable codes and standardsDeep knowledge of power distribution, lighting, and technology systems for built environmentsExperience in healthcare or commercial/workplace market sectorsStrong client communication and interpersonal skillsFunctional knowledge of AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEPStrong working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeTravel ability as requiredPE registration preferredValid driver’s license with clean MVRClient communicationInterpersonal skillsMentoring/leadershipPower distribution systemsLighting systemsTechnology systems for built environments
