(G2) is on the lookout for an energetic, innovative, and driven software developer to join our cutting-edge team. *About the Role:* As a software developer at G2, you’ll dive into exciting projects, harnessing your skills to solve complex challenges and support national defense. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment where creativity and innovation are at the forefront. *Responsibilities:* * Perform software engineering that includes software planning, requirements analysis, design, development, integration, testing, debugging, and installing large scale software systems. *What You’ll Need:* * Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. * 3+ years of software programming experience in Java and JavaScript libraries/frameworks for full stack web application development. * Experience in Agile Software Engineering Processes and Life Cycle. * Experience working within automated development/build environments leveraging tools such as Git/GitLab/Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, etc. * Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting using effective communication and writing skills. * This position requires an individual to be a US citizen and either have, or be able to obtain, and maintain a DoD clearance. *Desired Qualifications:* * 5+ years of software programming experience in Java and JavaScript libraries/frameworks for full stack web application development. * Experience with software development for relational databases such as H2 DB. *Physical Requirements:* * Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. * Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times. * Must be able to navigate each department at G2 and at the assigned client facilities. *Location:* This is a full-time, hybrid position based in San Diego, CA, where you’ll work side by side with the team and our clients to achieve mission success.
