This unique full-time opportunity offers the stability of a salaried role while providing exposure to a variety of clients, industries, and accounting environments across the Indianapolis market.If you enjoy building your skill set, tackling new challenges, and making an immediate impact, this role is a great fit.Why Join Robert Half's FTEP Program?+ Full-time, salaried role with benefits and paid time off+ Variety of project-based and interim accounting assignments+ Opportunity to gain exposure to different industries and systems+ Career development, skill-building, and ongoing support from our teamWhat You'll Do:+ Prepare and post journal entries to support daily accounting operations+ Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner+ Support month-end and year-end close processes, including financial analysis and reporting+ Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed+ Analyze financial data and provide insights to improve accuracy and efficiency+ Work within various ERP systems and adapt quickly to new client environments+ Collaborate with client teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting+ Contribute to process improvements and special accounting projectsRequirementsWhat We're Looking For:+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field+ 2+ years of accounting experience (public accounting or industry experience preferred)+ Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close+ Experience with account reconciliations and financial reporting+ Proficiency in Excel and exposure to accounting/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)+ Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and processes+ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills+ CPA or CPA-track is a plus, but not requiredWho Thrives in This Role:This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy variety, continuous learning, and stepping into new environments where they can add value quickly.
