Java Technical Architect

• Lead the architecture design for large-scale Java-based applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, translating them into robust technical solutions using UML and other modeling tools.
• Develop and enforce architectural best practices, including service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices, and API design (RESTful APIs).
• Oversee integration efforts involving diverse technologies such as WCF, SOAP, Web services, and various front-end frameworks like Angular, React, Ember.js, and Ext JS.
• Drive cloud architecture initiatives utilizing AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms to ensure scalable and secure deployment environments.
• Implement DevOps automation strategies using Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems like Git or SVN.
• Provide technical mentorship to development teams on software development lifecycle (SDLC), design patterns, distributed systems, and system design for scalable solutions.
• Ensure compliance with security standards by integrating identity & access management protocols and conducting vulnerability assessments with tools like Burp Suite.

*Qualifications*

• Proven experience as a Java Technical Architect or similar senior role with extensive knowledge of Java SE/EE frameworks.
• Strong understanding of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra, alongside relational databases including MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
• Expertise in cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure) with hands-on experience designing cloud-native applications and cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency in modern front-end technologies including Angular, React, Bootstrap, CSS, HTML5, and AJAX for seamless web development.
• Deep familiarity with service-oriented architecture (SOA), RESTful API development, Weblogic/JBoss/WebSphere application servers, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Skilled in system architecture design for distributed computing environments using microservices architectures and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban to facilitate iterative development cycles and continuous improvement.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to requirements gathering, solution architecture design, and system implementation.
