Director of Actuarial Analytics

We are working with a global insurance leader that's building the future of pricing, underwriting, and risk through AI and advanced analytics and they're looking for a leader to help drive that transformation. 🚀 The role:Stay hands-on in model development and technical problem solvingLead and grow a high-performing data science and actuarial teamPartner directly with State Pricing leaders, Product and UnderwritingShape the enterprise AI roadmap and deliver real business impactChampion responsible AI, MLOps, and innovation at scale 📍 Location:Hybrid in Boston, MA - 2 days per week preferredOccasional travel to other parts of MA 💡 Ideal background:Actuarial expertise (ACAS/FCAS required)8 + years of insurance experience Management experience - preferably 3 + yearsDeep experience in pricing, underwriting, or risk within P&C insuranceStrong hands-on skills in Python/SQL + advanced analytics/Machine LearningProven ability to lead while staying technically credible This is a chance to modernize actuarial work with cutting-edge AI-while still doing the technical work you enjoy. Desired Skills and ExperienceStrong actuarial background (this is NOT a pure data science role) - ACAS or FCAS requiredProven ability to apply predictive modelling and machine learning in an actuarial P&C environment Technical: Python / SQL / SASSomeone who operates with urgency, ownership, and strong communication at C - Suite levelLeadership experience (preferably small teams but strong project leadership will also be considered)
