Public Safety Officer

Position Summary The ECU Health Medical Center Public Safety Officer performs the complete range of security services provided to the patients, visitors, and staff of ECU Health Medical Center. As a Public Safety Officer, you will: Demonstrates acceptable level of Service Excellence behaviors. Demonstrates acceptable level of work habits behavior. Meets professional standards. Provides information and assistance to patients, visitors, and staff. Maintains and monitors Metal Detector. Provides door unlocks to staff. Provides releases for Morgue to Funeral Directors. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements High School or higher is required. Must maintain a valid North Carolina driver's license.
