Schedule: Openings available on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts

Role Overview
Our manufacturing facility in Avon, CT, is looking for reliable, mechanically minded individuals to step into the role of Production Machine Operator. Successful applicants will be responsible for overseeing equipment operation, conducting quality assessments, and ensuring our production floor remains both safe and highly productive.
Core Duties
Configure and manage production equipment in alignment with standard operating protocols.
Handle the loading and unloading of raw components and completed goods.
Observe equipment functionality and implement minor tweaks to ensure output goals are met.
Conduct quality evaluations during the production process by utilizing visual checks and precision measuring instruments.
Identify and resolve minor technical malfunctions, escalating larger equipment concerns to the maintenance or supervisory staff.
Help ensure data integrity by keeping precise logs of production counts and documentation.
Adhere to production timelines to help the team consistently reach quality and output benchmarks.
Conduct standard sanitation and basic upkeep tasks on all machinery.
Support a secure work environment by strictly following all safety protocols and manufacturing guidelines.
Keep your designated workspace tidy and orderly.
Required Skills and Experience
Prior background in a manufacturing or machine operation setting is highly desirable.
Strong mechanical inclination with a readiness to master new processes and machinery.
Capacity to interpret and execute production documentation, safety guidelines, and work instructions.
High level of precision and a dedication to maintaining quality standards.
Ability to function effectively both as an individual contributor and as a collaborative team member.
Physical capability to remain standing for long durations and execute repetitive manual tasks.
Ability to safely lift and maneuver materials as the job demands.
