This role follows a hybrid work arrangement, on-site 2–3 days per week in New York City.The ideal candidate brings at least 6 years of experience delivering innovative, scalable, and secure software solutions. They thrive in collaborative settings, move fast, deliver measurable value, and embrace a culture of boldness, humility, and accountability.ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain web applications incorporating domain-specific business logic Collaborate with Architects, Tech Leads, Product, and Design teams to shape solutions that deliver customer and business value Produce concise, articulate, and detailed technical documentation Apply Agile and Lean practices throughout the development lifecycle Design, build, and maintain automated tests—unit and integration—ensuring high code quality Support healthy system operations and maintain high levels of availability QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience 6+ years of software engineering experience, ideally within fintech or financial services Expertise building APIs with C# and .NET Experience developing event-driven systems leveraging Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies, with familiarity in CQRS, Event Sourcing, or related architectural patterns Proficiency with SQL and relational databases, along with experience interpreting and contributing to system design Knowledge of financial regulators, regulatory concerns, and KYC (Know Your Customer) workflows is a strong plus Experience with TDD, Domain Driven Development, Marten for Event Store DB, CI/CD pipelines, and scaling systems to high user volumes is preferred Compensation$85-$90/hr - Dependent on fit and experience
