Senior Software Developer for direct banking clientWork location: midtown NYCWork schedule: Hybrid (50%)LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY PLEASEJob DescriptionIn person interview required 100% hands-on Front Office Java Developer (with python is a plus), with good understanding of backend and front-end technologies (e.g. html, css, javascript) (with vue.js is a plus)Good understanding of equities and equity derivatives product; trading workflow (with FIX protocol)Experience with developing trading platforms (For example: Order Management system, Stockloan system, market data system, etc )Experience working on trading desks; working with traders, quants, and risk management teamsExperience with pricing strategies, quantitative modeling (preferably in volatility) and P&L calculations is a plusExperience with Quod (OMS) is a plusExperience with Murex is a plusGood education background and/or strong experience in financial industryExperience collaborating effectively with business users (traders/sales), multitasking and adapting in a fast-paced environmentHighly organized, must be eager to learn and growRequired years of experience: 10 yearsEducation requirement: Bachelor
