Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for an Adult Therapist, located in the Washington DC-Baltimore area, with opportunities for limited work-from-home flexibility. The Adult Therapist will provide individual and group therapy sessions to adults, develop and implement personalized treatment plans, and conduct mental health assessments. Additional responsibilities include maintaining confidential client records, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and offering crisis intervention as needed. The therapist will work with various client populations to address mental health challenges using evidence-based therapeutic interventions and ensure care is delivered with empathy and professionalism. Qualifications Proven experience in individual and group therapy, including mental health assessments and developing personalized treatment plans.Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, crisis intervention techniques, and trauma-informed practices.Strong written and verbal communication skills for maintaining client records, ensuring documentation compliance, and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.Proficiency with relevant software and technology for managing teletherapy sessions in a hybrid work environment.Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field required; appropriate state licensure (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMHC) preferred.Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive, empathetic, and non-judgmental therapeutic environment.Prior experience in the Washington DC-Baltimore area or understanding of the local community and cultural dynamics is a plus.Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to ethical standards in mental health practice.
