Adult Education Director
Job purpose:This position is responsible for the development, implementation, daily operation, and evaluation of courses and programs aligned with the workforce needs of the local business community and meets the needs of participants in Marshall County.Duties and responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.* Management of state and federal grant fundingo Define, measure, and evaluate performance datao Ensure funding and repo1ting guidelines are followedo Seek and prepare new grant applications to ensure program growth* Assess community needs to expand program offerings and increase enrollment in collaboration with key stakeholderso Participate in Lifelong Learning Network and No1th Central CTE meetingso Membership on North Central CTE advisory boardo Visit and engage with industry partners to determine workforce needso Integrate adult education programs into the broader workforce development initiatives across the communityAssess and initiate efforts to expand adult education programs for emerging populations by developing partnerships with community and government agenciesAssist school corporation with post-secondary planning for studentsHire, train, supervise, and evaluate adult education staffReview and evaluate program effectiveness using comprehensive data sourcesEffectively communicate/market program awareness and vision to diverse audiencesMaintain workplace privacyMaintain a positive relationship with all stakeholdersQualifications:* Education and/or Experience:o Bachelor's degree is preferredo Experience with Adult Educationo Experience with workforce development* Other Certificates, Licenses, Registrationso Valid state driver's license - operator permit.Terms:* 220 days as per the Classified Staff Conditions of Employment
