Job Overview Amazon Web Services (AWS) runs one of the largest networks in the world. This role focuses on building software that controls traffic across the Amazon network using SDN, traditional routing, and switching solutions. The work involves developing large‐scale, distributed systems that run worldwide. Responsibilities Design and develop network control plane software for highly scaled networks, using SDN and traditional routing/switching solutions. Work with management, customers and the development team to develop state‐of‐the‐art solutions, incorporating new technologies and algorithms and innovations. Basic Qualifications 4+ years of non‐internship professional software development experience. 3+ years of design or architecture experience for new and existing systems. Experience programming with at least one software programming language. Preferred Qualifications 4+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent. Benefits & Compensation The base salary range for this position is 165,200.00 – 223,600.00 USD annually. Your package will include sign‐on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
