In this role, the Delivery Merchandiser is also responsible for stocking product on shelves and in coolers while ensuring that appropriate rotation standards are maintained. At times the Delivery Merchandiser will ride with the CDL Driver while in other instances the Delivery Merchandiser will work solo transporting themselves between our customers' locations.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesDelivery Merchandisers assists the Driver Merchandisers throughout the day to deliver, fill, merchandise, condense backstock and rotate products at customer accountsPick up company property and returnsReload truck with customer returns, empty shelves, and palletsEnsure compliance with regulatory and company policies and proceduresManage backroom by organizing and consolidating backstockProvide superior customer service to consumers and store personnel & foster relationships by identifying and resolving concernsJob RequirementsHigh school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred1+ years of experience working in grocery, retail, consumer goods, warehousing or related field preferredExperience working with manual or powered pallet jacks preferredMust have the ability to repetitively lift, push and pull 50+ pounds, reach above head height, squat, kneel, bend and reachMust have the ability to stand and walk for long periods of timeMust have the ability to push and pull manual and powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistanceValid driver's license and driving record within MVR policy guidelinesValid driver's license, driving record within policy guidelines, and insurance that meets company requirementsBenefits & PerksEligible employees may have access to a comprehensive benefits package, which may include medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) with company match, life insurance, paid time off, fitness reimbursements, tuition reimbursement, employee discounts, scholarship opportunities, and more.*Benefits eligibility and offerings may vary based on position, location, employment type, and union governance.Background VerificationEmployment with Coke Northeast is contingent upon the satisfactory completion of a pre-employment background verification.
