CNC Production Supervisor -2nd Shift-Bilingual
Position Summary:The 2nd Shift CNC Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the CNC machining department during the 2nd shift. This role ensures production goals are met while maintaining quality standards, safety compliance, and efficient workflow. The supervisor will lead a close-knit team by providing guidance, training, and support to achieve operational excellence.This position is:* Located onsite at our Falcon Lakeside facility in Stevensville, Michigan.* Work hours are on 2nd shift: Monday-Thursday, 3:00pm-1:00am (4 x 10-hour days) with occasional overtime working Fridays as needed.Primary Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate the activities of CNC machine operators whom machine, assemble, and perform quality control of parts on 2nd shift.Monitor production schedules and ensure on-time deliveryMaintain quality standards by enforcing inspection procedures and addressing defects promptlyEnsure compliance with all safety policies and promote a safe working environmentTroubleshoot production issues, including machine performance and workflow bottlenecksTrain, coach, and evaluate employees to improve performance and skill developmentCommunicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations by sending a daily production report and the end of each shift.Maintain accurate production records, reports, and shift documentationReview and approve timecards weekly as required to complete payroll.Additional Responsibilities:Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce wasteCollaborative, creative and fast-paced office and manufacturing floor.Cultivate an employee culture that welcomes you like family.Strong understanding of CNC machines, tooling, and production processesAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsExcellent communication and leadership abilitiesPosition Requirements:High school diploma or GED required; technical or manufacturing-related education preferred3-5 years of experience in CNC machining or manufacturing environmentPrevious supervisory or leadership experience preferredBilingual in English and Spanish preferredCandidates who are not bilingual must be comfortable using translation tools to communicate effectively with team membersAbility to lift 30 pounds repeatedly and to be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of the individual or others.Must pass lift truck licensing test and maintain a lift truck license.Who We Are:ArtiFlex Manufacturing designs and builds products and solutions for companies with tough challenges by employing people with a willingness and ability to be "Innovative.
