In the role of Credit Analyst II working on-site in Waukesha, Wisconsin, you will be part of the Credit and Collections team.Under broad supervision, the credit analyst is responsible for assisting in maintaining control on credit accounts. This position performs periodic analysis of accounts to identify those that may require difficult collection procedures and also performs investigations of the new credit applications in order to obtain all of the necessary information that allows for decision making concerning the credit acceptance or rejection.Minimum QualificationsAssociates degree in Accounting or Finance or Equivalent Experience3 years of related experience in Credit or Finance DepartmentPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting or FinancePrevious experience using SAP or equivalent ERPEssential DutiesCollection of accounts and releasing of orders to maximize incoming cash and minimize delinquency.Communicate with both internal and external parties in a manner that accomplishes the company objectives and maintains goodwill.Acquire, prepare, and analyze customer data obtained from credit applications, credit agency reports, financial statements, and payment history to establish credit decisions.Other Duties As Assigned And The FollowingProvide detailed reports on accounts for review of company credit exposure, applications, and account statistics.Assist in any system enhancement projects for the Credit department.Respond to external credit inquiries on accounts.Follow established guidelines to manage overall credit risk to maximize sales while keeping risk at an appropriate level.Knowledge And SkillsProficient in MS Office.Effective analytical skills.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem solving skills.Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast paced, high work volume environment with emphasis on maintaining quality and timeliness.
