Production Associate I
The Production Associate I performs functions including trimming, grinding, packaging, labeling, and recordkeeping. This position is an entry level position and responsible for rotating between a limited number of functional areas.Responsibilities & DutiesFollow instructions given by the managerGather, arrange, and sort materialsProcess materials into finished goodsPerform quality control checks and ensure uniformityPackage finished goods in store ready packagingLabel all items, SRPs, and batches accuratelyProduces the required quantity of products within established timeframes and specificationsMaintain production logs, inventories, documentation, and reportsCompliant with company SOPs and state regulationsMaintain a clean and safe work areaFollow applicable safety procedures by wearing appropriate PPE, and reporting injuries, near misses, and hazards to managementBehave in a manner that is positive, productive, cooperative, and encourages teamworkPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications & ExperienceMust be at least 21 years of ageHigh school diploma or GED requiredExperience working in production, manufacturing, or food service preferredMust have reliable transportationMust be able to pass a background check in accordance with state regulationsCompetenciesAttendance & PunctualityDependability & FlexibilityPositive, Productive, Cooperative, and Encourages TeamworkInterpersonal CommunicationResults FocusedPhysical RequirementsFrequent repetitive hand motionManual dexterity is needed for manipulating food items and tools.Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time (8+ hours)Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs, including hot and cold items.Ability to push and pull.Visual acuity is needed to accurately read small screens and labels.Workplace EnvironmentWarehouse/production facility environment with environmental controlsConsistent moderate background noise level due to machinery and HVACExposure to keef/dust and cannabis odorExposure to skin contact with plants, to which some individuals may be allergic (PPE provided)Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position and does not encompass every task or responsibility that may be required.Pay Range: $16.00 - $19.52Insa is a multi-state employer, and this is the company-wide pay range.
