Join us and help run what runs the world.This position reports to: Production SupervisorYour role and responsibilities (Mandatory)In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the unit in achieving the set production targets by adhering to the systems and processes. Each day, you will use machinery and equipment on the shop floor. You will also showcase your expertise by reading and interpreting the technical diagrams/instructions for assembly of products/systems/panels. The work model for the role is: onsite at the Pinetops, NC facility. You will be mainly accountable for:Conducting all types of assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels, including the packing where integrated with production lines.Performing work manually or by using light hand tools.Carrying out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.Operating within standard operating procedures and maintaining a clean work area.Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)High school diploma or equivalent requiredLegal authorization to work in the US is requiredKnowledge and use of tools tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed.Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as neededAbility to lift, push and pull up to 40lbsWorking conditionsManufacturing plant environment requires a combination of hands-on and technical tasks. Work may involve occasional lifting of materials, climbing stairs/ladders, and walking. Employees may be required to bend, twist, or stand for extended periods. Frequent use of computers is necessary for data entry, monitoring, and communication. Employees will also handle a variety of tools and equipment, from hand tools to machinery, requiring technical skills and adherence to safety protocols. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed shoes, is required to ensure a safe working environment. Adhering to safety guidelines is essential for all team members.
