The Equipment Manager is responsible for the full lifecycle of our fleet: procurement, deployment, maintenance, tracking, and cost performance across all active projects and our shop operation.This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of operations, strategy, and field execution. You'll work alongside superintendents, project teams, shop technicians, and vendors to make sure the right equipment is in the right place, in the right condition, at the right time.What You'll OwnFleet deployment and utilization across multiple active job sitesPreventative maintenance programs and repair coordinationProcurement, rental agreements, and vendor negotiationsAsset tracking, inventory control, and lifecycle managementEquipment and tools P&L, budgeting, and cost performanceSmall tools program, inspections, certifications, and complianceLeading and developing shop superintendents and mechanicsWhat We're Looking For5–8+ years of equipment or fleet management experience in construction or a related industryStrong working knowledge of heavy equipment, power tools, and construction machineryExperience with maintenance programs, fleet tracking systems, and vendor negotiationsComfort managing budgets and owning cost outcomesCDL preferred; valid driver's license requiredAbility to travel to project sites as neededWhy Boyd JonesBoyd Jones is a Nebraska-based general contractor with a track record of building complex, meaningful projects across the region.
