Full Stack Engineer (McLean)

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join a dynamic team supporting a leading financial services client based in McLean, VA. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust end-to-end solutions across Angular front-end applications and Java-based back-end services, while supporting production systems in an AWS cloud environment.What you'll doDevelop and maintain full-stack applications using Angular (front-end) and Java (back-end)Build, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure and services within AWSProvide production support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliabilityCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, QA, and DevOpsParticipate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and sprint planningContribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and deployment automationRequired qualifications7+ years of end-to-end full-stack development experienceStrong proficiency in Angular (recent versions) for front-end developmentSolid back-end experience with Java (Spring Boot or similar frameworks)Hands-on experience deploying and operating within AWS and its core services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.)Demonstrated experience in production support and incident managementNice to havePrior experience in financial services, banking, or the mortgage industry is a significant plusFamiliarity with mortgage origination or servicing platformsExperience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsKnowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful API design
