Teacher Aide/Assistant

New Discoveries is looking for someone to join our already amazing team! We are looking for either an Aide I or an Aide II. New Discoveries a State Certified Childcare Center that is a year round, full day program with a set curriculum. Our philosophy is based on the belief that all children are a gift from God with unique God-given talents. We believe that children learn by doing: What is meaningful and important to children is what they know, see and feel. All learning must begin there, building on what children know, helping them to understand connections and relationships. Duties include: supervision of children, assisting with planning and implementing curriculum including art activities, science experiments, leading games, assisting with meal preparation, diaper changing and toilet training. Co-lead learning activities including reading, singing, gross motor and sensory motor. Please include in your Resume/application that you are Registered in the Central Background Registry through The Office of Child Care (ORO), have First Aid/CPR, and Food Handlers Certificate.
