We celebrate diversity and foster an inclusive environment, empowering our employees to be their authentic selves.To complement our rapid growth, we are actively sourcing for a Network Engineer to operate in a 24/7 Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environment maintaining IP Networking components in a production setting.In this role you will:Participate in projects for new Network Product offerings and Network Operation improvementsIntegrate business partners and acquisitions into a supportable designReview and analyze history of network related incidents and perform preventive measures Troubleshoot network related issues and communicate with customersAssist in managing network service providers and equipmentProvide capacity analysis and planningAssist customers and field personnel in network activations for customersKey ResponsibilitiesInitiate multiple projects for new Network Product offerings for customers and Network Operation improvementsPartner closely with Network Architects and Engineers to improve WAN network connectivityPartner with internal business units to best understand the organization's needs and continuously improve and apply standards for operational excellenceReview, analyze and execute network change requestsOccasionally interact with external customers to ensure smooth network activations and to troubleshoot any network connectivity related issuesRequirements: 3-5 years of experience in Medium to large networks, IP Routing, Switching, and Security principlesDemonstrate knowledge of platform operating systems (router platforms, LAN, WAN, and router protocols) MPLS, OSPF, and BGP, and how they interact with the networkDemonstrate knowledge of real-time traffic queuing and prioritizing on LAN and WAN networksDemonstrated operational success with an exceptionally strong data-driven analytical approach towards solving complex challengesExperience with implementations of solutions involving large data centers, inter-business routing plans, site2site IPSEC VPNs, FWs and MPLS VPNsHands-on skills for Cisco IOS-XE is required and Cisco IOS-XR and Nexus OS preferred, connect lab equipment, proof of concept; Documenting solutions with diagrams and proper description is requiredKnowledge and experience in Cisco Nexus 7k, ASR 1000 and 9000 Routers, SSL-VPNExcellent communications, both oral and writtenPreferred Qualifications:Telecommunications experience - VoIP, RTP, SIP peering/trunking and SBC is a huge plusExperience with incident response, information assurance, computer security best practices, system hardening, vulnerability management, antivirus, SIEM, firewalls, IPS/IDS monitoring, and techniques for analyzing TCP/IP network traffic and event logsKnowledge of Linux network functions; Saas/Cloud-based software environment a plusKnowledge and experience in Cisco ACIKnowledge on AWS and GCP Cloud platformsWork Location: This role is fully remote for candidates who reside outside the 30 mile radius of one of our offices.
