Field Service Engineer Mendota Heights. MN 55120 Duration: 12+ Months Pay rate: $35 - 40/Hr. M-F 8:00 - 4:30 CST in office Job Description: Associate's degree or bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or electrical journeyman with low voltage/electronics training. Willing to travel to customer sites (up to 22 weeks/year) across the U.S. This travel is by air. The team is looking for an Electromechanical Field Service Engineer with at least 7 years of experience troubleshooting electrical, electronic, and mechanical hardware. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Travel to customer sites (up to 22 weeks/year) across the U.S. This travel is by air. Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial inkjet printers and production line equipment (presses, laminators, heaters, etc.) While on-site at Mendota Heights, MN location: Service and troubleshoot equipment. Handle customer support calls Supporting team that is in the field. Manage your travel itinerary, customer communication and schedule. Work on process improvement, documentation and lab testing while not traveling. Requirements: 7+ years of hardware experience. 7+ years electronic and electrical troubleshooting Very Strong mechanical skills. 5+ years of industrial equipment maintenance Bonus to have hands on experience with PLC and HMI programming. Must have VERY strong team and customer skills. 5+ years of travel for field service Nice to Haves: Experience with programing PLCs.
