Daily responsibilities may include:Receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming shipments against packing slipsStocking and organizing materials in designated warehouse locationsPicking, pulling, packing, and preparing customer and project orders for shipmentPerforming cycle counts and maintaining accurate inventory recordsUsing RF scanners, handheld devices, and warehouse management systems to track inventoryLoading, unloading, and transporting materials using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipmentAssisting with shipping, labeling, and preparing outbound freightMaintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environmentFollowing OSHA safety standards and proper material handling proceduresQualificationsRequired:Must be at least 18 years oldAbility to lift up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the shiftAbility to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical work for extended periodsStrong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracyBasic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse management systemsAbility to pass a physical examPreferred (but not required):Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experienceExperience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS)Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipmentStrong math skills for counting, verifying, and tracking inventoryBuild a Career That Makes an ImpactAt Taylor LP, you're not just moving materials—you're helping support projects that protect buildings, infrastructure, and communities across the country.
