Familiarity with the auto insurance industry is highly preferred.Proficient in Java and Spring Boot framework development within an Agile environment using Test Driven Development (TDD) methodology.Experience working with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.Strong experience with REST and SOAP Web Services and APIs, with exposure to industry-standard models for auto insurance.Skilled in working with SQL or similar query languages, XML, JSON, and databases like PostgreSQL.Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit, Karma, and Mockito.Knowledge of cloud-native solutions including Lambda, API Gateway, EKS, and cloud-based data platforms is a plus.Familiarity with JWT, OAuth, OpenID, and SAML.Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins.Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, and Grafana.Familiarity with code analysis and scanning tools like SonarQube or Veracode.A good understanding of the insurance industry and business practices is preferred.
