We are a growing team of two senior advisors supported by operations staff, with a 10-year vision of becoming the top recognized wealth management team in the Charles River area.The OpportunityWe are seeking an Investment Operations Associate to manage the full lifecycle of our team’s investment accounts. This involves everything from opening new accounts to processing transfers, rollovers, and ongoing service requests. You will work directly with our advisory team and our clients to ensure that once an investment recommendation is made, the implementation happens smoothly, accurately, and on time.Key ResponsibilitiesOpen new investment accounts using data from our CRM, financial planning tools, and OneDrive: prefill paperwork, prepare documents, and minimize advisor and client effortProcess transfers, rollovers, and account consolidations; track each request from initiation through completionCommunicate with clients, custodians, and Park Avenue Securities about new account status, transfer progress, and any outstanding items: timely, clear, and professionalHandle all asset movement requests including account transfers, journal requests, check deposits and withdrawals, ACH transactions, Fed Fund Wires, and annuity ordersProcess ongoing investment service requests: address changes, beneficiary updates, distribution requests, contribution changesPrepare account review materials and reports for client meetingsEnter client data and account information in CRM systems and financial planning tools, updating regularly Attend weekly team meeting and report on pending accounts and pipeline statusUphold the first-class experience for clients, occasionally getting on the phone with the client to coordinate asset transfersQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferredSeries 7 and Series 63/66 securities licenses preferred (or ability to obtain)1–3 years of experience in investment operations, wealth management, or a related financial services roleKnowledge of investment asset classes, mutual funds, ETFs, and other investment vehiclesExperience with CRM systems and financial planning toolsStrong analytical skills and attention to detail: accuracy is non-negotiable in this roleExcellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of Morningstar and Envestnet is a plusTeam player with strong organizational skills and ability to work independentlyCandidate must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent ResidentAbility to commute and work in-person in Needham on a hybrid basis, typically 3 days per weekCompensationBase salary range: $55,000–$75,000 per year, based on experience and licensingPerformance-based bonus opportunityOpportunity for long-term growth as the team’s AUM and investment practice scalesAccess to ongoing training through The Bulfinch Group, Guardian Life, and Park Avenue SecuritiesWe are fortunate to be supported and aligned with The Bulfinch Group (www.bulfinchgroup.com) and have additional support in our alignment with our Broker/Dealer, Park Avenue Securities and Guardian Life for additional training, compliance oversight, operational systems and support of a Fortune 100 organization.Securities products and advisory services offered through Park Avenue Securities LLC (PAS), member FINRA, SIPC.
