Troubleshoot and maintain existing special circuits. Will assist with, or perform the routine installation, turn-up, troubleshooting, and maintain all of Access Network equipment from a field perspective. Responsible for basic AC and DC power installation and maintenance for all Central Office equipment. Responsible for basic Generator maintenance and troubleshooting. Responsible for overseeing Central Office Air Conditioning and building alarm maintenance. Will provide 24-hour on-call support as needed.Job Responsibilities· Provide support for all facility side troubles.· Install and maintain all special circuits from the facility side.· Assist with installation and maintenance of Access Network equipment, Power, and Generators.· Assist with proactive maintenance of Access equipment and remote office· Performs all other duties as directed by management.Education And Requirements· Requires a High School Diploma or GED.Preferred· 1 year directly related experience preferred.· Access network troubleshooting skills including xDSL and T1.5 circuits training/knowledge preferred.· Knowledge of routers, LAN/WANs, PC and client/server networking, IP routing and switching, and FTTH.· Working knowledge of fiber optic transport and equipment.· Must demonstrate teamwork and professionalism throughout job duties.Home Telecom is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
