The ideal Dermatology Nurse Practitioner is confident, compassionate, and committed to delivering quality healthcare to the elderly population.Dermatology Nurse Practitioner ResponsibilitiesPerforming physical exams and patient observationsRecording patients' medical histories and symptomsCreating patient care plans and contributing to existing onesOrdering, administering, and analyzing diagnostic testsMonitoring and operating medical equipment, as neededDiagnosing health issues and sharing it with the physician on callAdministering medicine and other treatmentsDermatology Nurse Practitioner RequirementsCNP/Certified Nurse Practitioner LicenseGraduate of a state registered Nurse Practitioner Program OR is certified as a Nurse Practitioner by a National AssociationDermatologist experience in a clinic, hospital, or nursing homeEither a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) or Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Nurse Practitioner (N.P.) specializing in Dermatology from an approved universityExperience using diagnostic techniques to identify diseases and implement appropriate treatmentsExperience managing a diverse staff and client-base is essentialAbility to communicate important health information effectively and compassionatelyGood interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well with the elderlyBasic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) requiredDEA requiredGeneral InformationCompensation: $35.00 – $40.00 per patient or $60.00 - $65.00 per hour7-8 hours visiting patients plus paperworkSchedule: typically, 9AM – 5PM20-25 patients per visitThe MedServ Group covers your medical malpractice insurancePowered by JazzHR4LOzslrVmY
