Schedule: Full-Time
Shift: Days – 4x10 (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) or 5x8 (varied start times between 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Weekend Rotation: Yes – Rotating Saturdays; Sunday Call
On-Call: Yes – Weekday evenings and weekends
About the Role
MedOp Solutions is partnering with a leading healthcare system in Evanston, Illinois to hire an experienced Vascular Ultrasound Technologist for a contract assignment starting May 11.
This role supports a multi-site vascular imaging program requiring technologists to perform a wide range of diagnostic vascular studies independently. The technologist will work across hospital and outpatient settings, delivering high-quality imaging services while collaborating with physicians and care teams.
This opportunity is ideal for a highly skilled vascular technologist who is comfortable working independently, flexible with floating, and experienced in both routine and advanced vascular imaging procedures.
Unit Information
Specialty: Vascular Ultrasound
Experience Required: Minimum 2+ years of clinical experience preferred
Floating: Required across 4 hospital sites and 2 off-site locations (Skokie ambulatory and Glenbrook cardiovascular)
Environment: Multi-site, high-volume vascular imaging program
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound studies independently including:
Arterial studies
Venous studies
Carotid imaging
Conduct advanced vascular imaging studies (preferred)
Ensure high-quality imaging and accurate data acquisition
Collaborate with physicians for image interpretation and patient care planning
Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards
Document procedures and findings accurately
Travel between multiple sites as needed
Required Qualifications
Completion of an accredited 2-year ultrasound program
RVT or RVS certification required
Licensed Vascular Technologist required (as applicable)
Minimum 2+ years of vascular ultrasound experience preferred
Strong ability to perform vascular imaging independently
Experience with arterial, venous, and carotid imaging required
Scheduling & Expectations
Day shift: 4x10s or 5x8s (varied schedules)
Weekend rotation:
Rotating Saturdays
Sunday call required
On-call requirements:
Monday–Friday: 5:30 PM – 9:30 PM
Saturday: Start time varies, ends at 9:30 PM
Sunday: 7:00 AM – 9:30 PM
Holiday coverage required
Floating required across multiple locations
Orientation & Onboarding
Start Date: May 11
Orientation: 16 hours non-billable
Credentials Due: Thursday prior to start date
Additional Information
Must be flexible and comfortable working across multiple facilities
