In this role, you'll be responsible for advancing production performance, developing high-performing teams, and ensuring compliance with cGMP, OSHA, and safety standards in a highly regulated environment.Your Responsibilities:Lead and supervise production teams to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing of high-quality productsTroubleshoot production issues, document findings, and implement corrective actions to maintain operational performanceTrain and develop employees on GMP, safety, technical processes, and company policiesCoordinate cross-functional activities with other departments to support production goals and resolve issuesManage workforce planning, scheduling, and performance, including hiring, coaching, and disciplinary actionsWhat You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):Education: Bachelor's degree with 1+ year experience OR associate's degree with 3+ years OR 5+ years of relevant experienceExperience: Experience in manufacturing, production operations, or regulated environmentsTop 2 skills: Strong leadership and team development capability + ability to operate effectively in a GMP-regulated production environmentWhat will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):Experience in biologics, pharmaceutical, or sterile manufacturing environmentsExperience leading teams in a union environmentKnowledge of aseptic processing, filling, or freeze-drying operationsExperience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment and production processesProven ability to drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiativesElanco is an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of age, race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, protected veteran status, disability or any other legally protected statusElanco may use automated tools, including AI, to support parts of our recruitment process, such as reviewing applications against job-related criteria and/or transferrable skills.
