We offer a highly competitive benefits package, including medical coverage with fully paid premiums for employees and their families, dental insurance, life insurance, paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan with profit sharing and performance bonuses.Job ResponsibilitiesSet up, program, and operate both manual and CNC profile creep-feed grinders to manufacture precision parts in a fast-paced shop environment.Prioritize and process work orders according to production schedules and due dates.Meet daily production goals while maintaining strict quality standards.Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and comparators.Troubleshoot machine issues and perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in machining and workflow processing.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Follow all safety procedures and company policies.Requirements1-3 years of experience working on profile, creep feed grinders preferred but not required.High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.Proficient math skills, including geometry, are required.Mechanically inclined and robust aptitude for problem-solving techniques and decision-making ability required.Ability to work within tight tolerances and read and operate precision measuring instruments is required.The ability to read and interpret blueprints is required.Ability to multitask and handle shifting production schedules with minimal disruption required.Knowledge of production workflow processes required.Ability to stand for extended periods and general stooping, bending, and stretching required.Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. required.The ability to work overtime is required.Communication and effective collaboration with peers and management in a team-oriented environment are required.
