Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country.DescriptionCaptivation Software has an immediate need for a DevOps Engineer who will focus on DevOps engineering of a modernization effort to converge the agency's authoring, dissemination, and other supporting tools.ResponsibilitiesDeploying applicationsInstalling and configuring complex softwareManaging network servers and technology toolsMonitoring and maintaining the system for required levels of performanceTroubleshooting issues and outagesRequirementsSecurity Clearance:Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizenMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.Master's degree can be substituted for two (2) years experienceRequired Skills:LinuxAWS, MASH, and VMsDeployments of distributed web applications (e.g. Gitlab CI/CD)Terraform scripting and VM provisioningAnsible scripting and developmentThorough understanding of Docker & Docker Compose container technologyGitDesired Skills:AWS, eVo, VM, and UWE environmentsDocker SwarmPython scripting and developmentNiFi maintenance and configurationElasticsearch maintenance and configurationJava/Spring Boot (troubleshooting error logs)HAProxyMongoDBPercona (MySQL flavor)FirewallsAgile software development practicesJira and ConfluenceThis position is open for direct hires only.
