Senior Test Automation Engineer (QA)Contractor · Remote · Long-term · Full-timeAbout the roleWe're placing a Senior Test Automation Engineer with one of our strategic US clients — a tech company building cloud-connected consumer devices, mobile applications, and subscription-based security services. Their platform handles live video and audio from home devices through low-latency, highly secure cloud infrastructure, so quality isn't optional: it's core to the product.You'll own automated testing across mobile, web, and API layers. That means building and maintaining frameworks, integrating testing into CI/CD, and bringing strong AI awareness to how your team approaches quality. This isn't a role where you wait for tickets — you drive initiatives, unblock yourself, and learn fast.What you'll work onDesign and build scalable test automation frameworks using Python, Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Robot Framework, and XCUILead automation coverage across mobile apps (highest priority), frontend applications, and APIsApply AI-assisted QA practices to improve test design, defect analysis, and automation productivityImplement and maintain Page Object Model (POM) patterns across frameworksIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevOps teamsDesign test strategies for software interacting with hardware devicesDrive quality initiatives end-to-end — from scoping to delivery — without needing constant directionCommunicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersWhat we're looking forMust-haves:5+ years of professional test automation experienceStrong hands-on mobile automation background — Appium, XCUI, or equivalent.
