Our mission is to equip students to think and act biblically as they pursue academic excellence and Christ-centered lives.We are seeking spiritually grounded and experienced educators to join our Elementary School.Position OverviewThe Pre-K 5 Teacher has the responsibility of directing the academic, spiritual, social and emotional development of students. Eden seeks to provide an exceptional education and a challenge to engage the mind and heart of each student to think and act with Christ-like character.This is a part-time, 10 month role based in Pittsburgh, PA, with occasional evening and weekend responsibilities. The program will be full-day, 3 days per week.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure a sound educational environment in the classroom, which adheres to the standard based core curriculumIntegrate Biblical and mission-aligned truths throughout each of the courses in written materials and oral and written instructions to studentsAssess student academic progress, tailor lessons and provide additional resources, when neededLead in prayer with students and assist in their spiritual developmentPartner with parents to ensure a proper education both inside and outside of the classroomEstablish an environment for learning that displays proper discipline both in the classroom and on school premises.Attend and participate in professional development to further develop teaching skillsCollaborate with campus principal and fellow educators to support student success and promote personal and professional growthFollow all educational and operational policies Requirements Ideal Candidate ProfileWe're looking for teachers that are spiritually mature and professionally accomplished.
