Construction Project Manager

DCI - Dykhouse Construction, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for a construction project manager / estimator position.Core Role·       Manage project preconstruction and estimating·       Manage project financials·       Client and sub management·       In charge of the overall success of a projectThe project manager is accountable to oversee construction projects from planning through completion. The PM will ensure the projects are completed on time and within budgets. A successful candidate will have the ability to lead a team of peers and employees in an effective manner, while hitting goals and objectives.Duties & ResponsibilitiesSchedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.Determine the labor requirements.Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations.Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions.Obtain all necessary permits and licenses.Collaborate with company leadership and field staff.Prepare and submit budget estimates and cost tracking reports.Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather or emergencies at the construction site.Must be able to problem solve.Work along with the site superintendent on constructability challenges.Work in a fast-paced environment, while being organized.Excellent communication and customer service skills Conform with all safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment.Will be required to travel to job sites.Compensation based on experience. Attractive insurance package including health and dental.
