Senior Agile Program Manager**Remote with the ability to be onsite for quarterly strategy sessions or PI planning support.Position OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Agile Program Manager to lead the strategy, governance, and execution of enterprise-scale Agile programs across multiple business units, platforms, and value streams. This individual will serve as a strategic partner to business and technology leaders, ensuring initiatives are aligned with organizational priorities, governed effectively, and delivered in accordance with Agile best practices and enterprise portfolio management standards.The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in Agile program delivery, portfolio governance, enterprise transformation, and Agile tooling administration, with a particular focus on driving organizational maturity, transparency, and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesAgile Portfolio & Program LeadershipLead the governance, planning, and execution of enterprise Agile programs and strategic initiatives.Partner with business and technology stakeholders to ensure alignment between organizational objectives, delivery priorities, and resource capacity.Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across business units, product teams, and delivery organizations.Enterprise Portfolio ManagementOwn and facilitate the enterprise project and portfolio intake process from initial request through approval.Ensure initiatives are evaluated, prioritized, funded, and aligned with strategic goals and available capacity.Support portfolio planning, governance, reporting, and decision-making processes.Agile Tool Administration & OptimizationServe as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for Targetprocess.Manage platform configuration, governance, reporting, process design, and ongoing optimization.Ensure Targetprocess effectively supports Agile delivery, portfolio management, capacity planning, and enterprise reporting requirements.Drive enhancements that improve visibility, transparency, and organizational Agile maturity.Continuous Improvement & Agile TransformationChampion enterprise agility and continuous improvement initiatives.Partner with Agile Coaches, Product Management teams, PMO leadership, and delivery teams to strengthen Agile practices and adoption.Develop governance standards, training materials, reporting frameworks, and process improvements that support organizational growth and maturity.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.7–10+ years of experience in Agile delivery, program management, portfolio management, or enterprise transformation roles.Hands-on experience administering, configuring, governing, and optimizing Targetprocess.Experience managing portfolio intake, prioritization, governance, and capacity planning processes.Strong facilitation, communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels, including executive leadership.Strong systems-thinking mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and organizational complexity.Preferred QualificationsSAFe Program Consultant (SPC), SAFe Agilist (SA), PMP, or equivalent certifications.Experience managing enterprise portfolio management tools and reporting frameworks.Experience supporting data, analytics, or technology modernization initiatives.Experience working within regulated industries such as insurance, healthcare, financial services, or government.Technical EnvironmentAgile & Collaboration ToolsTargetprocessJira and related Agile delivery toolsMicrosoft Office Suite / Microsoft 365SlackMuralData & Reporting PlatformsSnowflakeThoughtSpotiSiteKey Success FactorsStrong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.Ability to balance strategic planning with operational execution.Experience driving Agile maturity and enterprise-wide process improvements.Proven success leading complex, cross-functional programs within large organizations.Passion for continuous improvement, transparency, and enterprise agility.
